Mid-week pondering: O-mikuji’s atmopshere

O-mikuji (御御籤, 御神籤, or おみくじ o-mikuji) are kind of random fortunes written on strips of paper at Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples in Japan.

Often translated as  “sacred lot”, they are usually gathered in some particular areas hoping for the resulting fortune to be good.

The o-mikuji can be either scrolled up or folded,

and the just hang in places…

holding all those wishes, prayers, omens….

they create a unique atmosphere and have their own energy connecting with their surroundings….

What if that positive energy and atmosphere is carried to all corners of this world of ours?

Feel free to join me in mid-week pondering posts, just leave a link to your posts:)
