Welcome the Light : inspired by the Circle of Art

This week prompt over at the Circle of Art  is very strong….

“The wound is the place where the light enters you.”  -Rumi

While thinking about it I came across something that resonated with and liked to the prompt..

So my response …

First with a yogi tea tag and my interpretation of it and then making something exploring this framework of mind…

From these ideas, I made this piece using inks, reflections and layers….

Hi Lizzie, how true is that Quote ““The wound is the place where the light enters you.” -Rumi…. I often think it is not until something wounds us or shakes our core such as turmoil, tragedy, illness etc, that we set our paths towards the light… For it is often those Darker places we find ourselves in that shake us up to reveal the Light within our lives, or to appreciate the lights which have always been there..

As always your Art connects to get your reader thinking… and I thank you so much for calling in at Dreamwalkers, your presence is so welcome as you spread your own Light within its pages…
Wishing you a not so hectic week ahead.. Sending you a cosmic Hug over the airwaves this rainy day which hasn’t stopped for at least 72 hours or more..

    Bright Blessings
